Bandol rosé

Geology : sandy alluvium on marly limestone.

Grape varieties : Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault.

Growing techniques : traditional cultivation, the soil is ploughed, no chemical weed control or fertilizer. The vines do not undergo any systemic or insecticide treatments, except for essential treatments against downy mildew and powdery mildew. The soil is ploughed into mounds around the base of the vines in the winter and returned to the space between the vines in the spring, excess growth is removed from the base of the vines, followed by pollarding and green

Harvesting : a lot of work is carried out in the vineyard. The grapes are harvested by hand into crates and sorted in the vineyard and again in the winery.

Yield : 35 to 40 hl/ha

Vinification : direct pressing, enzymatic settling at 15°C. Holding for five months before approval, under a neutral atmosphere to preserve the aromas.

Characteristics : pale pink colour with hints of salmon. Balanced and smooth in the mouth with aromas of peaches and apricots, almond flavours develop mixed with citrus notes.
